GENERAL CITE

This paper presents a method of telling where the sensor is located on different body parts. This is achieved by collecting sensory data and analyzing the motion patterns of different body parts, e.g., hand motions usually “contain much more higher frequency components”. The paper shows that most common human activities, such as walking, can be recognized in a location independent way. Further, the sensory information can be used to determine which body part the sensor is based on.
